20 All
Well you probably know the result. Australia scored a record total for a Twenty 20, then we limped out, provided some catching practice, and by the last over needed a run rate of 85 an over! We eventually lost by a mere 77 runs, our only 6 coming in the last over. Anderson was particularly special, one over his first 3 balls were all hit for 6.
The only good thing that came out of it was Khalia dancing - there was a DJ scratch off! with some Aussie DJ vs. Judge Jules, both playing terrible music and the girls not having a set routine for obvious reasons. SO there was plenty of looking at each other to know what was happening next, but they pulled it off pretty well. Half the girls were in white, half in green 'n gold, and although Khalia wanted to be England she was forced into green. It worked to her favour as these were the photos that made the papers - back page of the Telegraph here, and apparently over in the Metro in London too! International superstar. I got to test out my new Digital SLR, with telephoto lens, although I looked like a bit of a stalker....
